This particular passionflower has no alcohol so it doesn't have a strong aftertaste. To me, it's kind of like a prune juice flavor. My husband doesn't really care for the taste but likes how it works.
We have been taking this brand for over a couple of weeks. If you have a slight issue with sleep and just need something to slow down your thinking, this will probably work for you. It does help to make you drowsy. The best way to take it is to down the pills then go right to bed without reading a book, checking your email on your phone, watching tv, etc.
I haven't had any anxiety, it helped me sleep, and no side effects. I love how I can go to sleep faster and without any effort. I can now go to sleep without worrying about a million things, without planing what I will do tomorrow, and with out turning constantly.
